I think it had something to do with my cousin Debi selecting it to be her wedding color, and I wanted to be just like her.
I got it into my head that I want to paint an accent wall in my dining room red. Cliché, perhaps as red seems to be one of the more popular colour choices for the dining room.Because I suck at choosing paint colors (evidence found here) I headed out to Home Depot to pick up a few samples.

My kitchen is red and it's my favorite room in my house! Behr California Poppy. Rich and beautiful!
We've had lots - kitchen, vestibule, den, - red is devilishly hard to paint but worth it. Best red for us was Roadster Red - Benjamin Moore. Good luck!
Home Depot - autumn Maple - in my last three condos!
I like the red.
I mean the antique red. We did our dining room in a para paint from the Group of 7 collection that is amazing. I tried to find a link but I am not sure they make it anymore.
....did you change something on your blog? I can't access it from work as they think it is porn. Is it and I just didn't catch on?
I do.
MY OFFICE.
a bright deep vibrant PURPLE!!
My basement "office" is hilighter yellow (that's the actual name). The salesperson said "are you sure" three times when I chose it.
One of the bedrooms is red.
And. The best room in the ENTIRE house is painted........ (.........) BLACK! It's awesome. AWESOME. I love it so much. The room doesn't look small, and feels really luxurious, especially at night.
I'm so jealous! I would love red in a room. My youngest daughter had a red room when in the semi. It was a bugger of a colour to paint with, but it was gorgeous when it was finished.
I am chicken.
BUt I admire bold colours, and I love the Antique Red.
I don't because I live in an apartment and I don't think I could paint. But I would love to have a couple of accent walls that are bold colours; when I have my own place I will!
