Sephora Loot

Last Thursday, I ran out of my favorite primer.

You know what that means? A trip to Sephora!

This place scares me worse than Costco does. I go in for one thing, and leave with 329405 others.

This time though, I didn't make out too bad. My total bill was only $128'ish.

I've been eye'ing this eye shadow since I was in NYC last summer. I'm very loyal to MAC eye shadows, but the colors of this palette suit my hazel/green eyes perfectly.

Nars Duo Eye Shadow in Kuala Lampur.

I also kind of needed some moisturizer. I have been using Aveeno Ultra Calming + SPF 15 for a few years now. Decided to give this a try. I'm pasty and burn easily, so I always looks for a moisturizer with SPF.

Bare Minerals Advanced Protection with SPF 20.

I also picked up this little beauty. My darling friend Cat got me hooked on this a few years ago. I like a little dab in the morning. Keeps my lips soft and gives them a little shine too. Apparently it's good for diaper rash too... who knew?
Smiths Rosebud Salve.

Am I the only one that puts myself in the poor house at Sephora?

We finally got a Sephora here in Halifax last year. It was you girls on our Toronto trip that turned me onto it! I've been Bare Minerals ever since! I also got that Urban Decay eye primer you suggested a while back and love it! The one thing I've realized is that I have never found a mascara that is as good as the good ol' covergirl ones. I use waterproof or I get raccoon eyes and there's only a few waterproof options at Sephora and I wasn't a fan. Back to good ol' CG for mascara.

I'm not anonymous - it's me, your darling friend Cat. I've pretty much hooked every friend I have on the rosebud balm - and Bare Minerals...they should hire me, or at least just pay me for being so awesome.

I miss having a blog. I also miss you.

I am SO with you on Sephora. When it opened at Bayshore, I had to purposely NOT go in on every shopping trip or else I'd have to pick up a second job.

On my birthday I treated myself to the Nars blush - Orgasm. And I love it. I've never tried their eyeshadow, I'll be anxious to hear how you love it (or not) and that my be my next treat.

Every time I go there, I HAVE to get a new lipgloss.

All that to say - I get you. Actually, when I saw the title of your post I got worried to read it, knowing I'd ssee something that I would HAVE TO go get :)

Nope, I spend at least $100 every time I'm in there. My family knows to just give me Sephora gift cards for Christmas and my birthday. Sounds so superficial but it's easily my favorite store; I can always find something to fit!

I'm so opposite. I'm not a makeup/product girl at all. Never wear eyeshadow or primer...or foundation. Every makeup is CG orMaybelline. Lol

I love Smith's Rosebud Salve!

No Sephora near me, but a few times a year I stock up online...I always manage to find a few extras to try. :)

Ugh, I'm the same way with Sephora... that place is a total drain on my bank account. It definitely doesn't help that I work right across the street from one (along with a Macy's and Nordstrom Rack & DSW)!!
