I can't eat a waffle without thinking of this scene.
I love everything about waffles.
I especially love these waffles from Cora's.
Andrew and I were out shopping a couple of weekends ago (I HATE HATE HATE shopping on Saturdays - especially to places like Home Depot and Canadian Tire but I digress) and I mentioned that I would like a waffle maker.
This is funny to me, well not ha-ha funny, but ironic funny. I curse kitchen gadgets. I hate them. But because of my love for food and cooking, they tend to be the 'gift of choice' from my lovely father. I blame him for the need to add extra cabinets to my kitchen.
I talked myself out of it at the store, but I felt the need to kiss Andrew's entire face when he left this baby sitting on the counter on the weekend.

I heart waffles. Simply couldn't agree more -- they're ohso fabulous. I used to work at Cora's (a high schooler's dream job!!) and enjoyed more than my fair share of the "ruined" waffles -- one of the fruitiers who made them was crushing on me and often screwed up on purpose. ;) Needless to say, I've been addicted ever since. Love my waffle maker and use it at least 1-2x weekly.
