I'm one of those people that love a good deal, sometimes a little too much. I'll often settle for something I don't 100% love just to save some money.
Best example of this? My wedding dress. I found one that I absolutely loved, but decided that the price tag was too high for my liking. I went to another store, tried on one dress and decided it was the next best thing. Best part of that story? By the time I got my veil and alterations? The price tag was pretty much the same as the original dress. I never felt amazing in that dress.
Another classic example? My last car - or van as some people liked to call it - you know who you are.
Again, I settled. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was a great deal.
Last weekend, I kinda bought a new car. And this time it was EXACTLY what I wanted.
It's pretty. It's white. It has a sunroof (yes, I'm high maintenance) and leather seats. All the things I wanted in my last car!
I left the dealership feeling a little panicky, but at the end of the day I was proud of myself for not settling. I've had my new wheels for about a week now, and I'm absolutely loving it!
This is lame and girlie, but I think my favorite part is satellite radio.
Nothing like a little Snow to start your Tuesday morning! Have a good one!
