....one of my old colleagues always used to say "time to strap on the old feedback" before every meal. I never knew what it meant until right this very second when Wikipedia told me that "in popular culture, the feedbag is used in the expression "strap on the old feedbag", meaning to "dine". It suggests that the diner will pay little attention to etiquette, and that the meal will be taken simply to satisfy one's hunger. The term is also used in numerous restaurant names."
Here's my feedbag.
Breakfast today starts with an Americano Misto and an un-photographed banana.
Morning snack: 2 yogurts and raspberries.
Lunch today is one of my favorite combos of late: Deli meat, pickled asparagus, cheese
With a side of cucumbers
and a serving of seedy crackers. YUM. I love this combination because it takes a while to eat, and has a variety of different flavors and textures.
Afternoon snack = grapes. My favorite!
It's only been 3 days since I've rededicated myself but I'm feeling good.
On tap for tonight: Volleyball! Now that ball season is over (for me, not the Yankees WOO!) I'm happy to add another night of sports to my week. It's fun, social and keeps ya moving. :)I love the fall - mostly because I love post-season baseball. Such an exciting time of the year. Most people get gaga for all things pumpkin, but I'm happy to kick back and watch a little baseball. Let's go Yankees!

A feedbag was a pouch like bag filled with oats that was attached to the head of the horse for feeding purposes. Glad to hear you've perked up. Good luck with your Thanksgiving challenge. I'm off to find my feedbag.
