Holiday Reflections

Usually I spend the holidays being pretty miserable. Over the last few years, I've made it a point to remove the negativity out of my life... and what do you know? The 2012 Christmas season was the best one yet.

Lots of smiles with my favorite God Son -

Acting like a child -

Jersey thinking her Momma was dying - maybe because I screamed the entire time?

Entertaining for the first time since we moved in - mainly due to the freshly painted walls!

Teaching Jersey some patience - that is a treat on her nose. Love the look in her eyes.

Hosting a family brunch which included my "favorite neighbor and hot as hell spin instructor who happens to be single and available". His words.:)

Prepping to host a brunch for baseball friends...

My outdoor bar

And hot indoor bar

This moment melted my heart a little. Love seeing little fingers tickling the ivories.

Practicing my parenting skills. Uncle Andrew picked out their Michael Jordan outfits as Christmas presents.
Maybe I have a few things to learn, I suppose its not good to drink and parent right?

Of course - there is video footage of the ridiculousness that is tubing behind a side-by-side. I swear, it felt a lot faster than it appears!

I surrounded myself with the people that mean most, and as a result? Happy Amy!

All that being said, I'm happy to get back to routine... a routine which dosn't include peanut butter balls and shortbread cookies.

Welcome 2013!

What a wonderful holiday. May they all be this merry & bright! Also... Having a glass of wine in hand while parenting is perfectly acceptable!

That is awesome Amy....the Holidays is all about spending quality fun times with the ones we love.

I'm back on track too....yesterday had a shake for breaky and did a 30 min cardio session on the treadmill.
