This little baby was waiting for me under the tree this Christmas.
A Ninja 3 in 1 cooking system. It’s basically like a slow cooker, oven and stove all in one.
Last night, I decided to give it a try using their recipe for Lemon Rosemary Chicken.
The cool thing that I liked about the Ninja was that it had a burner it in so you can actually sear your meet. I’m not a big fan of cooking meat in the slow cooker for this exact reason.![]()
After the chicken was seared, I took it out, filled the bottom of the pot with chicken broth, onions and garlic and put the chicken on the roasting rack.
1 hour and 15 minutes later I had a roasted chicken.
I strained the onions and garlic from the broth and added a little cornstarch to thicken it. It was a little sweet due to the onions, but it had sooo much flavour.
I made a cauliflower purée with Laughing Cow wedges and steamed green beans as sides.
While the skin didn’t stay overly crispy, this chicken was amazing.
I was a little skeptical about the Ninja, but I can’t wait to try some more of their recipes!
